Looch Bodega is a versatile performing/recording artist and songwriter from the Dominican Republic (D.R.) who travels frequently between Miami, D.R., and Toronto, Canada.
 

In his humble beginnings, he began his journey in the realm of music in Rap/Hip-Hop and Latin Trap. After his mother's sudden and unexpected passing, he experienced adversity and trauma that changed his entire life forever. He found solace when he began exploring different sounds, where he discovered his love for Afrobeats, Afropop, and Amapiano.

 

Fused with traditional sounds rooted in his native island, he has been noted as the first Latin artist in Canada to mix rhythms, instruments, melodies and lyrics that bring together people and enjoyment of the Latin American, Caribbean and African diasporas.

 

Most recently, he has been delving into Dembow, a fast-paced, rhythmic style of music that originated in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, which is characterized by its heavy use of drums, synthesizers, and samples.
 

After his recent single titled "EL KI", the artist has managed to break into the Top 100 Canada Latin Sales, securing the impressive number 2 spot since his debut, competing with Manuel Turizo, Daddy Yankee, Zion and Lennox, and Farruko.

 

He is currently traveling between Mexico, U.S.A, Nicaragua  and Dominican Republic for various interviews (radio and T.V.) music collaborations, videos, hoping to continue his trajectory and seeking an international breakthrough.
